My name is Danack Charles. I was introduced to Beautiful Beauties back in high school by my lovely friend Jessica. I am truly thankful and blessed that I had great friends who wanted me to be apart of something as great as this. As a senior in college, I look back and realize how much Beautiful Beauties of Tomorrow has truly shaped me into the women I am today through its continuous motivational words and encouragement, remarkable events, and the actions of the mentors in this organization. The environment of BBOT proved to me that there are phenomenal women out there who want to see young girls be successful. The people were praying for our faith, education, and current and future success. I loved how different women would speak to us about what it means to love yourself, continuously grow, and keep God first no matter what. One of the best events I had a chance to be apart of was the Purity Ball in 2015, my senior year in high school. I’m thankful that today I can say I am still waiting until marriage, faithfully wearing my purity ring every single day. This is just a little testimony of what this organization has done for me, I can go on and on about how amazing BBOT is and how this organization helped me internally as well as externally. I will forever be thankful for the Beautiful Beauties of Tomorrow.

My name is Vanessa Cesar. I am 20 years old and a BBOT Alumni. Being in BBOT has changed my life completely! The best part was being apart of a loving sisterhood led by the most amazing women. I was apart of BBOT from the year of 2011 in middle school. At the time of being introduced to the group, I was such a timid young lady who didn’t know much and almost got lost in this world. Meeting Jackie and Jadinah was the best thing in my life, I want to thank these ladies so much! Without them I don’t know where or who I would be. I’ve learned to LOVE myself, love others and most importantly become a queen. On my down days, one thing I remember to keep me on my feet is what I was taught from this wonderful sisterhood.. If you want to be a queen, you must walk like one, talk like one and ACT like one! Trust me you will be respected as one. Period!

BBOT has really impacted me in many ways. BBOT taught me resilience and perseverance as I watched two people I view as mentors create something meaningful to help me become the woman I am today. BBOT allowed me to connect more with myself, others, and my values. As a part of the original cohort, BBOT has a special place in my heart. It taught me to be proud of my purity and to be confident in my queendom. I truly love BBOT, what it represents, and what it’s doing to transform girls’ lives.

Bob Proctor once said “A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you.” Since a child, to me, Jackie has been one of the ideal examples of what a woman should be. Jackie embodies what it means to be a strong and courageous black Haitian woman of God, and a powerful one at that. Entering The Beautiful Beauties of Tomorrow, Inc. Mentoring Program, helped me discover who I am and who I wanted to be. The organization gave me the tools that helped me develop into a better person. The program helped me grow, just like the rose that grew from concrete. I honestly wouldn’t be half of the young lady I am today if it wasn’t for BBOT.
